Free Lunch t-shirt

What started of as a bit of Twitter Fun amongst a few good fellow Tweeters @frith64 @OKDigitalMedia @dennispowers has turned itself into more of a Social Tweetup.

While away from my computer for only a few hours the three decided that for whatever apparent reason they deserved free beers on my account. Well over a period of two weeks free beers miraculously turned themselves into a free Friday lunch.

Well as the hashtag #FreeLunchOnScottDavis was out there; why not make the event a reality, thus born the idea to raise funds for the local Kelowna Community Foodbank. With no other agenda than just a Local Social Tweetup, chat, drinks and food, and the chance to meet some of the twitter folk that you exchange RT’s and ideas with online. I suggested that whatever the total food bill at the end of lunch, I would fund raise for donation and match that total to give to the charity.

Well yesterday saw six of us show up for lunch at the Kelowna Eldorado Hotel (@EldoradoKelowna).
